- As an Orthopaedic Surgeon and an RN we have teamed up to provide corrective surgeries to children in Portoviejo, Ecuador. Since 2003 we have enjoyed traveling there several times per year. The friendships with colleagues and patients and their families enhance our lives and provide opportunities to share God's love with others. On Monday July 8, the adventure begins again. We are thrilled to be taking our 20 year old granddaughter, Emily with us to Ecuador where she will volunteer at La Vida Surgery Center. Emily is excited to serve the people of Ecuador. This is her third trip to Portoviejo. During our two month stay, we will be receiving several volunteers from the USA who will come to contribute of their time, talent and love.
We are excited to see what our wonderful God is preparing for us.
